Hello! I’m Ron

My name is Ron and I work as an intuitive counsellor on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. I am deeply empathetic and naturally “tune in” to people’s emotions, feelings, and personal situations. This enables me to assist people to gain greater insight into their problems and find positive directions forward.

I have more than 45 years’ experience working with people experiencing relationship issues, trauma, addictions, anger, loss, grief, and other personal and emotional issues. I also have extensive experience in working with men.

I am formally trained in solution focused counselling and Milton Erickson based hypnotherapy. I also incorporate Buddhism and mindfulness practices, and the use of storytelling and metaphor into my counselling approach.

Solution focussed counselling focuses on “what’s missing” rather than “what’s wrong and needs to be fixed?”. This shift allows a proactive approach to healing instead of an over analysis of situation.

STORYTELLING & NARRATIVE THERAPY

The universal truths contained in myths, fairytales and story telling have long been known to guide people on their inner journey, assisting in their personal growth and healing. They work with some people because those who listen live the adventures inside themselves.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is rooted in Buddhist philosophy and practice tradition. It is a type of meditation practice in which you focus on what you’re sensing and feeling in the present moment, without interpretation or judgment.
