MINDFULNESS

The origin of mindfulness is rooted in Buddhist philosophy and practice tradition. It is a type of meditation practice in which you focus on what you’re sensing and feeling in the present moment, without interpretation or judgment. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in right now rather than dwelling on events from the past or worrying about the future.

Mindfulness helps people to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, they are better able to manage them. Practising mindfulness can give more insight into emotions, boost attention and concentration, improve physical health and relationships.
